As a first-time publisher, I’m new at this (I’ve never had my very own website before!) but I believe an enjoyable and enlightening experience awaits you on these pages. Herein you’ll find lots of “insider” information about the Hollywood blacklist, how it affected my family, and how my first (and so-far only) novel, The Wire Recorder, evolved from something that happened to me nearly sixty years ago—something that had nothing whatsoever to do with the blacklist, and everything to do with a girl I met one evening at weekend camp when I was barely fourteen years old.
